Dr. Guy Parker

To My Tyler Community:

Hello, I’m Dr. Guy Parker. I recently graduated from Parker University with my Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master’s in Clinical Neuroscience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to finally serve the great community of Tyler through Parker Health and Chiropractic!

Chiropractic has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but my commitment to this profession was solidified when I injured my back playing Division I football chasing a dream. At the time, I was told my only options were long-term pain medication or spinal fusion surgery. Imagine being in your prime and those being the options. Clearly neither one aligned with the future I envisioned for myself. My brother Travis extended a hand and reintroduced me back to my roots: healing through chiropractic. I have been in and out of chiropractic offices for everything under the sun; however, this one was different. I was actually injured and scared. I made the journey from Cushing, Oklahoma to Tyler, Texas and began receiving chiropractic care. Not only did I recover from what medical professionals were calling a lifelong uphill battle, but I experienced a level of clarity, function, and overall well-being that changed the entire trajectory of my life. I also became a world champion and world record holding powerlifter. That whole experience confirmed for me that when the nervous system is free to express life, the body is capable of far more than we are often led to believe. This ‘epiphany’ made it easy to leave one dream and to become obsessed with the next. Chiropractic.

During my schooling and training, I developed a deep respect for the intelligence of the body and it’s ability to adapt when interference is removed. My graduate Masters thesis focused on the neuroplastic changes that occur with chiropractic adjustments, studying EEG, somatosensory evoked potentials, and functional outcomes to better understand how restoring proper communication in the nervous system influences human health and performance. My conclusion: Chiropractic has limitless benefits to all who have a spine. “Get the big idea, all else follows. It is as simple as that!”

I’m trained in a variety of Chiropractic adjusting techniques Diversified, Upper Cervical Technique, Thompson, SOT, Activator, Webster, Prone Specific, Motion-Specific Technique, pneuma, MC2, and Zone to name a few. I can adjust infants, pregnant mothers, athletes, and adults with clarity and precision. My experience in high-volume principled practices reinforced what I believe at my core: every person deserves the opportunity to function the way they were created to, without interference.

Working alongside my brother is something I have looked forward to for years. I am here to honor the mission, culture, and standard of care he has built. My focus is to serve with excellence, communicate with intention, and help every individual who enters our office to feel supported, understood, and empowered in their journey towards better health and healing.

Whether you are here for performance, pain, pregnancy, pediatric care, or everyday wellness, my goal is to address the root cause, reconnect the nervous system, and help you experience life expressed at a higher level. Chiropractic is more than a profession to me, it’s a calling and a responsibility to show up for people with clarity, compassion, and a commitment to principled care. To help and provide hope to those who may find themselves where I was with 2 bad options, full of fear and a lack of hope.

Outside the office, I enjoy training, walking my dogs Hank and Phebs, being outdoors, and continuing my education in neurology, human performance, and principled chiropractic. I am honored to be part of this practice and grateful for the opportunity to serve you and your family.

God Bless,
Dr. Guy Parker D.C, M.S Clinical Neuroscience, CSCS

Genny

Genny has been a valued member of the Parker Health and Chiropractic team since 2014. With 15 years of prior experience in the medical field, she found her true calling in supporting patients through a more holistic approach to health and wellness. For Genny, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing patients make progress and feel better after treatment.

Outside the office, Genny spends much of her time caring for her sister and pursuing hobbies that bring her joy. She enjoys walking, reading, exercising, and has a big heart for animals. She loves feeding and watching a variety of birds—blue jays, cardinals, finches, and hummingbirds—as well as caring for neighborhood cats with the hope of domesticating them enough to trap, spay/neuter, and release. She even has two tiny squirrel picnic tables, complete with umbrellas, so the squirrels can snack in style.

Her passion for animals has inspired a dream of one day opening a rescue for all types of animals—a vision she’s already gaining support for, with volunteers eager to help when the time comes.

Above all, Genny is a proud momma. Her greatest joy is watching her son, Eli, pursue his career after graduating in December 2024 with his Master’s in Psychology. She deeply admires his dedication to working hard and helping people of all ages. Whether sharing a meal together or simply enjoying each other’s company, time with Eli is always one of her most treasured blessings.

Misty

Misty is not new to our office as she was a patient before she joined our team! Misty was born and raised in Tyler, Texas, where she continues to live out her love for family, faith, and community. She has been married to her husband, Ralph, for 27 years, and together they have two children—Sarah (21) and Caleb (19). Misty is also a proud “Gigi” to her grandson, Luke Ross, alongside “Papi” Ralph.

Passionate about holistic wellness, Misty believes in caring for the body, mind, and spirit as God intended. Her Christian faith guides every part of her life, and she strives to serve others with kindness, compassion, and encouragement.

When she’s not working, Misty enjoys spending time with her family, pouring into her church community, and helping others discover healthier, faith-centered lifestyles.
